Choices and Priorities

Although this comes off as obvious, I need you to know that in order to do anything, you cannot do everything. My observation is that too many people try to chase the “fix” in order to do more. But if you are trying to do too much, there is no biohack and there is no productivity tip that will solve the problem.

In fact, it may make it worse if you plod under the illusion that these tricks will help you do more than you are capable of doing.

Look, everything that you value comes at a sacrifice. The workout you choose to do every day is a sacrifice of time that you could spend making sales calls. If you want to go back to school full-time, you must sacrifice the time it takes to run the business you also want to start. If you want to learn French, you must sacrifice that time in place of playing video games.

Each choice made is a reflection of what you have deemed as important for yourself. When you look at this way, it is a ruthless audit on what your priorities ACTUALLY are versus what you claim them to be or what you think they are.
